Orlando Crowd Calendar March 2023
Orlando Crowd Calendar March 2023 – What is the best time to visit Walt Disney World? The answer is that it depends. There are several factors that can affect people. Of course, any day is good to visit Walt Disney World, but some days are more crowded than others. Here are some examples of factors that affect crowding levels:
The holidays affect Walt Disney World audiences, some more than others. Holidays that include long weekends (Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day) draw more people than surrounding weeks, but don't have as much of an impact. Independence Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving bring moderate to heavy crowds, and the weeks leading up to and during Christmas and New Year's Eve draw large crowds that often result in park closures as parks reach their maximum capacity. If you are flexible with your travel dates, avoiding the above holidays will allow you to visit Walt Disney World during less busy times!

There are a number of regional events happening across the country that affect your visit to Walt Disney World. Mardi Gras is a celebration observed in large areas of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, three states within a reasonable driving distance of Walt Disney World. This festival takes place on different dates every year from late January to early March, so with that in mind, some years draw more people than others. In early November, New Jersey schools close and many head south for a warm vacation in sunny Florida for "Jersey Week." Although the effect on people is not drastic, it is certainly enough to make a difference. In the North East, the third week of February and April are school holiday weeks which can affect crowd levels. The month of March is known as "Spring Break" and will also attract local and regional travelers to Walt Disney World.

Disney World In March 2023: Spring Break, Epcot Festival
(UPDATE 11/29/22) – We've updated our crowd calendar to reflect the latest crowd projections for early 2023 and beyond.
As if planning people's schedules at Disney in 2023 wasn't already difficult enough, things have gotten even more difficult in recent years, especially with the closing of Disney World parks and all the attractions, entertainment, and restaurants they bring back. it took more than two years to come back.

To predict what might happen in 2023, we need to take a close look at what has happened so far since the restart phase began.
January 2023 At Disney World: Crowd Calendar & Info
With the number of people increasing since the parks reopened, we'll discuss whether we expect to see further growth in 2023 and how this will affect crowds and wait times.

Just a word of caution, any traditional Disney World crowd calendar has been thrown out the window since the parks opened, as it has been very difficult to predict attendance with any confidence until now.
Some of our predictions for 2022 came true (visitors returned to Walt Disney World in a big way), but with so many unpredictable factors, we were also wrong. Any predictions for 2023 should be taken with a grain of salt, as the past two years have been harder than ever to understand crowds and we are far from perfect.

Disney World Crowd Calendar 2023
2022 is an interesting year and we have no idea how audience levels will react throughout the year. There are many unknown factors, including the current health crisis, the economy and the desire of visitors to travel in general. However, as the years go by, it's clear that people aren't slowing down when it comes to vacationing or visiting the "Most Magical Place on Earth."
Walt Disney World is essentially complete with phased reopenings that began at Disney's Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios in 2020. We haven't received an official statement from Disney or anything, but most of the clues about the famous security restrictions are old. because it disappeared from the Disney World website.

However, things are not fully back to normal, and park capacity is limited for now due to staffing shortages in the Orlando area.
Sunday Pop Up Market In College Park, Good Crowd, Orlando, March 12 2023
Last year the audience was generally very large and you couldn't say it was a quiet turnout. Almost every time we go, the crowd seems normal. This is very different from 2021, and especially 2020, where theme parks sometimes resemble ghost towns and many rides require no more than a 15-20 minute wait to board.

In 2022, it all kicks off in January, where the parks are busier than we're used to. Then there was an even bigger spike in people in February, with wait times reaching unprecedented levels for this time of year.
Things pick up in March and April when people start traveling for spring break and Easter. During these months, the parks were incredibly busy, and even with reduced capacity, the parks were still packed.

Crowd Calendar Retrospective For Universal Orlando
May was quiet and probably our favorite month to visit last year with incredibly low wait times which made us guests happy. Things improved by June and continued into July when Disney World crowd levels seemed to return to normal. A lot has to do with growth
