Mcallen Isd 2023 To 2023 Calendar – McAllen ISD began its spring feeding program on June 1 at 21 locations. Participating locations will provide healthy, free meals to children 18 and under.
No documents or proof of income required. Children can show up at any entry point in downtown McAllen. This includes schools, McAllen city facilities, sprinklers and parks, and places of worship.

Food is prepared in the district's large modern kitchen. These foods are fresh and served hot. The program will continue until July 28 in several locations.
Andrew Jackson Elementary
The federal government sponsors the program through the Texas Department of Agriculture. The school district pays for the meals provided.
