There is an urgent need to address the ongoing and growing problems and impacts of global climate change. The news that temperatures are twice as high in Europe as in the rest of the world highlights the fact that these changes are happening now and at a pace that was not thought possible in the past.

At COP meetings, national representatives gather to determine what actions to consider in the coming years to address climate change mitigation and adaptation. An agreement was reached in Paris to limit global warming to below 2.0°C and possibly 1.5°C. In addition, COP27 is expected to provide solutions on how developing countries with the worst climate impacts and least emissions can be supported with funds to compensate for losses and damages.

COPDrop presents a report from Asfand Bakht Yar. Asfand holds a Diploma in Sustainable Development from TU Dublin and is currently studying for a PhD in Climate Change Studies in Irish Higher Education. Originally from Pakistan, he has spent the last three years working in environmental education and communications with Irish NGOs. The construction of COP27 was funded by the Earth Center. Developing economies, which bear the brunt of climate change, will need significant financial support if they are to help the world meet its climate adaptation goals and halt or slow the pace of change and dangerous conditions. Estimates of the United Nations report on environmental deficit put the figure at 340 billion dollars per year.

So how did it go? I was surprised (due to the time pressure to report) by the number of financial projects, including financial instruments, strategies, climate change bills and various tools that can be used. I was surprised by the numbers given; TheDaijiWorld reported that 4-7 trillion dollars per year will be needed to fulfill the terms of the Paris Agreement on Sustainable Development.

Despite the arrest of more than 100 activists during COP27 so far, Young Activists in particular continue to lead the way and the highlight of the day for me was the organization of groups that want to stop fossil fuels, especially from Asian powers.

Of interest are some of the grants announced by the government and various institutions to help developing countries build and strengthen their stability and fulfill international expectations of sustainable development.

In the days leading up to COP27, we faced a strong backlash of media opinion. This year's severe climate change in vulnerable areas of the world has provided the background (and evidence) for many articles and advertisements.

Climate-affected island states and countries have experienced loss and damage over the past 30 years, but this is the first time it has hit the headlines. It is important to note that there is an understanding in the new aspect of the schedule – there is no obligation, it is cooperation. There is also a question mark over the event's sponsor and the 1,000 aircraft expected to participate.

At COP27, finance is defined as the basis for implementing climate action and raising expectations. Some research in many abbreviations (SNLD, GST, NCQG *) mentioned during the meeting explained that in 2030 economic costs in developing countries could reach 290-580 billion dollars. On the third day there were many national oaths, they must be new and not repeated. On RTE news (scroll down), our Taoiseach announced that Ireland is contributing €10 million and will do all it can to ensure a sustainable planet. We are waiting for the next update!

Youth play an important role in today's changing world. Youth are the key to creating a better and better future. In today's world, "young people" are more aware of climate issues, but they don't have a seat at the table. Social media and activists like Greta Thunberg have left their mark on the world. At COP24, Thunberg highlighted the impact of climate change on current and future generations. If concerns are not addressed, the consequences are serious.

Youth need guidance from government leaders for support and encouragement to actively participate in climate emergencies. But do young people know about the money behind it all? By changing everyday habits we can help, but raw materials are needed that need to be built quickly.

COP26 in Glasgow saw many young leaders attend for the first time and have a voice. Representatives from different countries were present, especially women, which was a real step for young climate activists. The Glasgow Climate Agreement highlights the need for young people to be involved in climate change at every stage.

Youth and future generations will be responsible and take action for future COPs. COP27 should see youth commitment and opportunities for young delegates to attend the next COP.

Soccer English Vocabulary For The World Cup 2022

Decarbonisation is the main theme of the COP. It is to reduce or eliminate greenhouse gases (GHG) produced as a result of human activities. The greenhouse effect is a natural process that has been fueled by anthropogenic emissions (caused by human activity) since the industrial revolution. This caused global warming. The consequences of this situation include the loss of ice, the rise of sea levels, the increase in bad weather, the extinction of plants and animals, and harm to health. The Paris Agreement, agreed at COP21, aimed to limit this increase in temperature to 2°C with the hope of reducing it to 1.5°C.

All COP26 topics focused on decarbonisation. Some important achievements include; an agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45 percent, 40 countries agreed to prioritize green energy, India committed to carbon neutrality by 2070 and an agreement to end deforestation signed by 100 countries. Clean Technology, was also launched, signed by countries representing more than 70% of the world's GDP. However, many agreements have faced opposition and have been weakened, for example by reducing oil instead of eliminating it. There was agreement that more needs to be done and urgent attention to implementing the agreed measures.

Decarbonisation Day at COP27 focuses on carbon-intensive industries, with discussions on steel, cement, oil, gas and fertiliser. Sharing new methods with developing countries so that they can continue to improve without affecting climate change was also emphasized. In addition, the fashion industry and the efforts made in Egypt to reduce their carbon footprint were discussed. As the day progressed, more announcements were made.
