The Ferris State University Board of Trustees on Friday approved the school's 2021-22 academic, general financial, and housing and dining budgets.
Trustees approved school fees, including a 3.16% increase on average for high and middle schools. This new rate is lower than the state's proposed tuition rate of 4.2%, but includes a portion of the college's tuition fees. For undergraduate students at Ferris and Kendall College of Art and Design, the sophomore increased by 2.71%, $455 per credit hour, the junior-senior increase was 3.62%, $487. WE. And KCAD tuition fees for studio students from Canada will also increase by 3.16%.

The following year, Ferris awarded another $1.1 million in scholarships for a total of $26.5 million to provide the student experience.
