What Day Is It In The Catholic Liturgical Calendar – Have you ever wondered what the colors on the front of the church mean? what do these mean? Why do they change on certain Sundays? Today's panel is about colors – purple, white, green and red. These are the main colors of the liturgical year and each one means something about our faith and our spiritual walk.

Purple is the color of royalty and pain, wisdom, creativity and majesty. The color of flattery, which we use in times of preparation and reflection – Advent, the time before Christmas and Lent, the time before Easter.

WHITE is the color of joy and celebration, renewal and purification and freshness. Of these rites and actions, this is the most important, remembering the cornerstone of our faith and reconnecting with the stories upon which our faith is built.
