Free Viewing/lecture Series
Grab a friend and join us for the inaugural Uncommon Denominator! Voted the Chippewa Valley's #1 Best Cover Band in Volume One Magazine's 2020, 2021, and 2022 Readers' "Best of" polls, these Blugold alumni have created an experience you won't forget.

After the show, join us for a great dance party hosted by Multicultural Student Services and the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center!
The free shuttle leaves Towers Hall at 9am and heads to our downtown Eau Claire Farmer's Market! Note: Shuttles only drop off – students must return to campus.

Uwec Empties Dorm For Covid Space
Free shuttle buses leave Towers Hall at 1:00 pm. then go at 3. The tailgate starts at 1 pm. With food, drinks, games, music and more for the first 400 people! Shuttles will return students to campus from Carson Park between 5 and 6 p.m.
Music, food, and energy will lead you to activities on campus, and you're sure to have a great time! There will be sand volleyball, indoor games (pool, ping pong, air hockey, bouldering wall), glitter sports, outdoor games (Kubb and toss), bonfires and s'mores! The Moon Mile will be an opportunity for all students to celebrate what's great on campus and have a great night of fun!

Welcome to your new living room and hangout, Davis. There will be free food, entertainment and activities throughout the building. There will be free bamboo plants, movies, Mario Kart, a photo booth, board games, food bingo and more!
Record Football Air Assault But Central Comeback Bid Foiled
Join us for free food, entertainment and a fitness retreat. You can also join your friends at the annual Run the Hill event starting at 1:00 p.m.! Be sure to check out all the activities happening in the afternoon. Bag toss competitions, zip lines and ropes courses are available.

Your RAs will conduct paint rotations for your building between 1-4:00 p.m. Bring a t-shirt (shirts are also available for $5) and team up with your new friends to create a tie dye creation. There will also be a "pizza" where you can taste and vote for the best pizza in Eau Claire from various vendors. Bring your appetite and join the fun!
Take a tour of the Multicultural Student Services office and chat with the staff while you're there. Be sure to stop and grab a muffin on your way to your first class!

The Center for Academic Skills, Housing, and Residential Life is excited about a new partnership that will bring teaching and academic skills coaching to the Upper Campus. Explore the new space, meet our staff, and learn how to schedule your academic success! Door prizes will be awarded to participants, and if a student wins, their RA and residence hall wing will also receive a prize!

Join the Office of Multicultural Student Services and their event co-hosts, Color Network Alumni, for a fun outing to celebrate the first week of school.

If the block party coincides with the student resource fair, join the Student Senate at the Campus Mall for live music (from a special guest), yard games, cartoons, free Blugold merchandise, community gift cards, coupons, and information about UW-Eau. A student organization led by Claire.

Take one of our free shuttle buses to the Target/Walmart shopping area and save! Buses leave Towers Hall at 7:00 pm. and round trip at 7 pm. and again at 8 p.m. at the Hastings Way location.

Visit the UW-Eau Claire In-Person part-time job fair at the off-campus mall to meet local and on-campus employers and apply for part-time jobs.

Discover what downtown Eau Claire has to offer with fun gifts, activities and more. Also, join the first Food Truck Friday! A free bus leaves from Towers Hall at 4.45pm. until 7 p.m. Please note: The shuttle drops off at Phoenix Park only. You have to walk back to campus (about 2 miles). If you plan to buy anything on the walk, please bring cash or a card.

Sam works as a marketing specialist at IMC. He is a proud Blugold graduate with a passion for the media industry, creating videos and content for the university's social media channels. Who enrolled: Undergraduate completion rates and graduation rates measure how many of UW-Eau Claire's first full-time students continue their studies (retention) in the next year or graduate after four , five or six years. Initial enrollment (graduation). These prices do not apply to UW-Eau Claire transfer students, part-time or international students. Also, students who transfer from UW-Eau Claire and graduate at another institution are not considered. Degree Credits and Degree Hours measure the average number of credits completed by first-time, full-time UW-Eau Claire students in their senior year and the average number of years required to graduate. Graduate retention and graduation rates are based on incoming fall cohorts for new part-time and full-time graduates.

UW-Eau Claire adheres to specific learning objectives and outcomes for the liberal education curriculum, academic majors, minors, certificate programs, and graduate programs.

UW-Eau Claire encourages all students to participate in High Impact Practice. The university focuses on high-impact practical endeavors in internships, immersion experiences (such as study abroad), and student/faculty research collaborations. All students also receive on-the-job training.

Career Services at UW-Eau Claire reaches out to new graduates each year to gather information about employment and continuing education. The data collection process and results were published in the first destination study. Our Thursday U Lecture Series has an amazing line-up starting in September 2022! Funded in part by the UW-County Foundation, the series explores topics in the arts, sciences, public relations, literary fields, and cultural fields. In hosting various speakers, the University does not seek to promote or endorse particular ideas, views, topics or products. These lectures are free and open to the public every Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 in our lecture hall at Blue Hill, BRRH234.
